In November of 2024, I lost my wife of 26 years to a rare cancer called Leiomyosarcoma. To honor her life and memory and raise much needed funds for sarcoma research and patient assistance, I am organizing an annual charity 5K walk/run called “The Run for Sweet Caroline”. The inaugural race will be held at the Spanish River Athletic Park in Boca on April 19th 2026. All proceeds will benefit Sarcoma research and patient assistance through organizations like the Sarcoma Alliance, the Leiomyosarcoma Direct Support and Research Foundation, The Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
